SKU: 101 Copenhagen Bakku Categories: , Tag:

Named after the Japanese word “Bakku,” meaning “bag,” this collection embodies a distinctive, fluid form reminiscent of a softly collapsing bag. Each vase celebrates the allure of imperfection, embracing natural curves and delicate variations that bring artistic elegance to any space.Owing to its artisanal craftsmanship, no two Bakku vases are exactly alike; small air bubbles or slight variations in shape make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Available in two sizes, the mini vase is perfect for a delicate floral arrangement on a dining table or as a refined accent on a console or coffee table. The larger vase, on the other hand, makes a bold statement—whether displaying vibrant blooms, sculptural branches, or standing alone as a striking glass centrepiece.

Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl

Tommy Hyldahl, owner and designer – With a background in fashion, having spent years forecasting and analyzing future trends, Tommy Hyldahl has a natural attention to detail in materials, historical references, and original design concepts. Similar to the process in fashion, the design at 101 Copenhagen, begins with an idea that evolves into a full layered narrative for each collection.

Kristian Sofus Hansen, designer – With a background from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and time spent living and studying in Japan, Kristian Sofus Hansen brings aesthetics and simplicity to the Danish design heritage and translates these details into the 101 Copenhagen collection. Mainly designing sculptures and objects, it is a never-ending source of inspiration for Hansen, whose aim is to create characteristic and functional designs to remember.
