Jorge Pensi Design Studio was founded in 1984 in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, specializing in furniture and lighting design, product communication, and scenography.

Since then, the studio has established itself as a global reference point for contemporary design. Its minimalist and expressive creations have won numerous awards and distinctions. Some of its early products, such as the Toledo chair or the Regina lamp, have become iconic elements of Spanish design.
